Location

Clonmel is strategically located on the National Primary route, the N24 (Rosslare/Waterford – Limerick/Galway). It links to the N76 to Kilkenny/Dublin and also links with the N8/M8 to Cork (60 miles) at Cahir. There is a network of secondary roads linking to smaller towns in the County and to towns in County Waterford. There is a relief road around the town which avoids through traffic traveling through the town centre.
